This week our next stop in our learning was Germany. We have learnt that Germany is in the same continent as us; Europe. We discussed how children go to school and the different traditions German people have- such as special food, breakfasts and clothing. We looked at different landmarks and have been reading traditional fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm. In Art, we used lolly sticks to create our very own cuckoo clocks. We watched how real clocks are made and discovered they had whistles inside to make the special sound.
