From Harvest to Holly – Time to Begin Christmas! 

Following on from the wonderful success of our Harvest celebrations, it’s time to turn the page and start preparing for our next season of music – Christmas!

Yes, we know… it’s only October! But as the song says, “We need a little Christmas, right this very minute!” And after the joy and togetherness of our Harvest performances, what better way to keep that spirit going than by diving into the festive season a little early?

Our first Christmas piece to learn this term will be:
We Need A Little Christmas

It’s a bright, uplifting song full of energy and sparkle – perfect for getting everyone into the festive mood. So dust off those jingle bells, warm up those vocal cords, and let’s bring some Christmas cheer into our rehearsals!

Upper Key Stage 2 Choir Returns with a Samba!

 

The Upper Key Stage 2 Choir returned this year with a bang – or rather, a samba! They made their first appearance in front of the whole school during this year’s Harvest Celebration.

After just three rehearsals, the children sang their hearts out with the lively Harvest Samba, a joyful song celebrating all things harvest. Their enthusiasm filled the hall and brought smiles to everyone listening.

It was a fantastic start to the choir’s year, and we can’t wait to hear more from them in the months ahead!
