Odd Socks day takes place on the first day of Anti Bullying Week each year to help raise awareness of bullying. This year that is this Monday - 16th November. 

Children in Need - 2020 Friday 13th November we will all be wearing something Spotty for Children in Need.  We are asking for a £1 donation. Lets see how much money we can raise fo Pudsey? 

This week our next stop in our learning was Germany. We have learnt that Germany is in the same continent as us; Europe. We discussed how children go to school and the different traditions German people have- such as special food, breakfasts and clothing. We looked at different landmarks and have been reading traditional fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm. In Art, we used lolly sticks to create our very own cuckoo clocks. We watched how real clocks are made and discovered they had whistles inside to make the special sound.

This term in PE, Year 5 will be practising different sports hall activities in preparation for House events this year. On Wednesday 31st October, Year 5 began by practising different jumping techniques and learning how we can jump higher, further and quicker!
