On Thursday 8^th May, White Cliffs Primary and Nursery School celebrated VE Day. The children looked wonderful dressed in red, white and blue.

The children joined in with a 2-minute silence during our special VE Day assembly led by Mr Danton.  They enjoyed a special lunch of fish and chips with red, white and blue cupcakes.

All the children across the school learnt about the importance of VE Day and remembering those who fought for our freedom and for peace in Europe.
