This week, White Cliffs Primary celebrated UK Parliament Week with a festive twist! Children were invited to take part in a ballot to vote for their favourite Christmas character. The candidates were:

• The Grinch
• Santa
• The Elf
• The Snowman

In assembly, pupils worked together to create candidate manifestos packed with persuasive reasons why each character deserved to win. Mrs Farrier also hosted two lively debate sessions during the week, giving everyone the chance to share ideas and opinions.

The Results:

• Total votes cast: 151
• Children enthusiastically joined lunchtime debates before making their choice.
• And the winner is… The Grinch!
