In science this week, Highland Cow's spent time learning about the different types of teeth humans have.

They learned the names of the 4 types of teeth; incisors, canines, premolars and molars, and explored the part each type plays when we begin to eat our food. They found it interesting that each tooth was a different shape and had special characteristics linked to its function. The children then used playdough and created the different types of teeth and made a perfect bottom jaw.
